摘要: PURPOSE Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT)- related factors are known to contribute the invasion and migration of multiple cancers. However, expression levels relationship between TWIST, E-cadherin, beta-catenin in bladder cancer not yet known. Therefore, this study investigated tissue specimens cell lines cancer. METHODS Microarrays were used beta-catenin, with disease stage grade using immunohistochemistry. Moreover, siRNAs transfected into any these factors. RESULTS The TWIST upregulated increasing malignancy. In contrast, corresponding results for E-cadherin just opposite. Furthermore, inhibition elevated but reduced beta-catenin. reduction by siRNA had no influence on up-regulated E-cadherin. CONCLUSION may act upstream which can indirectly regulate EMT be a cluster biomarkers metastatic progression
