摘要: Theoretical as well experimental investigations were carried out for the propagation of leaky waves along an important class optical thin‐film waveguides. For this type guiding structure which may consist heteroepitaxial deposition ZnS or ZnSe on GaAs, dielectric constant thin film is less than that substrate. Consequently, only guided exist. results show attenuation constants modes, be TE TM, are inversely proportional to (thickness layer)3 and directly (wavelength)2, TM modes more lossy modes. The existence these has also been demonstrated three different thicknesses.
