摘要: A series of pyran derivatives (5–27) were synthesized in good yields by utilizing Baylis–Hillman chemistry and further investigated for their vitro anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal activities. Most the tested compounds exhibited promising antibacterial activity as compared to standard towards Gram-positive bacterial strains. The 5–7, 11–13, 17–19 displayed two-fold higher whereas compound 21 showed four-fold against Staphylococcus aureus MTCC 96 Neomycin. Some these moderate all fungal Two 16 23 anticancer selected four human cancer cell lines such A549, DU145, HeLa, MCF7.
