摘要: Colorectal cancer is a major health issue worldwide. Conventional white light endoscopy (WLE) coupled to histology considered as the gold standard today and most widespread technique used for colorectal diagnosis. However, during early stages, very often characterized by flat adenomas which develop just underneath mucosal surface. The use of WLE, heavily based on detection morphological changes, becomes quite delicate due subtle or quasi-invisible changes colonic lining. Several techniques are currently being investigated in scope providing new tools that would allow such diagnostic assist actual so doing. We hereby present novel where high spatial resolution MRI combined with autofluorescence reflectance spectroscopy bimodal endoluminal probe extract data biochemical information, respectively. design conception detailed promising preliminary results obtained vitro (home-built phantom containing eosin rhodamine B), an organic sample (the kiwi fruit) vivo rabbit presented discussed.
