摘要: Doryteuthis gahi (Orbigny, 1835) is a relatively small squid typically attaining 13–17 cm mantle length that inhabits the shelves around southern tip of South America from Peru in Pacific to Argentina and Falkland Islands Atlantic. It most abundant Islands, where it subject important commercial fishery with total annual catch 50,000 t. Among Loliginidae, D. coldest water species associated mixed waters temperate Sub-Antarctic origin. The spawns at temperatures between 4 11°C, embryogenesis taking 1.5 months spring-summer 4.5 winter.
