摘要: AbstractTransportation agencies worldwide have been preparing themselves to face the growing demand for transportation infrastructure by forming public-private partnerships (PPP), contractual agreements formed between public and private sector entities, allow greater participation in delivery of projects. However, there is one major concern that needs be addressed: issue accurately estimating maintenance rehabilitation costs at project planning stage. The accuracy these estimates plays a significant role determining characteristics, selecting appropriate projects PPP approaches implementation, so they may lead sustainable highway preservation strategies.
