摘要: Strain localization is an important mode of inhomogeneous deformation controlling the ductility a wide range materials. In this work, atomistic mechanism shear band initiation in nanotwinned polycrystals studied and found to be governed by interactions between dislocations twin boundaries. A simple model developed illustrate effect boundary density on bands.
