摘要: Digital logic circuits are now available and being used with delay times that comparable to the delays of interconnections in packaging these circuits. At high speeds, however, such no longer behave as simple short circuits, but take on appearance transmission lines. Unless lines terminated properly, ``reflections'' can develop might be sufficient magnitude produce false levels or exceed maximum circuit voltage specifications. One may choose solve problem by increasing density system. This, introduces ``crosstalk.'' The present article describes several analytical techniques for predicting kinds reflections crosstalk typically seen digital systems, thus enabling engineer determine advance whether not ``interconnection noise'' will result, how bad it be, what typical interconnection limitations various speeds.
