摘要: Abstract In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in energy consumption Saudi Arabia. The building sector being the largest consumer of electric represents major potential contributor for reducing consumption. Due to their functional and operational characteristics, commercial buildings relatively consume more (per unit area) than other types buildings. heating, ventilating air-conditioning system (HVAC) is one end-users these buildings, particularly harsh climates. Energy efficient design operation HVAC systems can offer opportunities reduced contribute sustainable development. However, improper utilization conservation measures result environmental quality. This turn exposes occupants thermal discomfort health risks, consequently diminishes economic value facility. Therefore, well assessed balanced strategy required achieve efficiency while maintaining desired level comfort. this study, parameters different influencing are investigated utilizing Visual-DOE program. Results indicate that savings up 30% be obtained acceptable comfort when properly selected operated.
