摘要: The wall of the tube 'house' constructed by polychaetc, Chaelopterus variopedatus, was examined scanning and transmission electron microscopy polarizing phase-contrast light microscopy. consists alternating plies aligned protein fibres imbedded in an unstructured matrix. range diameter from 50-400 mmu have axial periodicity about 641 A. relative proportion to matrix, total number plies, per ply vary throughout tube.
