摘要: Pigeons were trained on arbitrary (hue-form) and identity (hue-hue form-form) successive matching with center-key samples left-key comparisons. Later, they tested form-hue (symmetry) probe trials that structured either in the different-locations fashion as baseline (viz., comparisons) or a constant location by using Three of four pigeons showed symmetry when probe-trial comparisons appeared center- spatial locations, respectively, but none did both one (center-key) location. Subsequently, previously those stimuli shown same location, vice versa for other pigeons. None former second test even if had first test. By contrast, two three not single-location so different (center- vs. left-key) locations. Taken together, these results show symmetrical relations between same, nominal depend where appear testing vis-a-vis training and, more generally, confirm is part functional stimuli.
