摘要: This paper examines the metallurgical evolution of AISI Stainless Steel 321 (SS 321) during multi-step forming, a process that involves cycles deformation with intermediate heat treatment steps. The forming was simulated by implementing interrupted uniaxial tensile testing experiments. Evolution mechanical properties as well microstructural features, such twins and textures austenite martensite phases, studied function process. characteristics Strain-Induced Martensite (SIM) were also documented for each step stress relief treatment. results indicated treatments considerably increased formability SS 321. Texture analysis showed effect on minor led to partial recrystallization, while observed reinforce crystallographic texture austenite. For SIM, an Olson-Cohen equation type identified analytically predict its formation generated SIM textured weakened increasing deformation.
