摘要: Direction of arrival (DoA) estimation is required in civilian and military applications such as wireless communications, search rescue, security, law enforcement, sonar, seismology. In the context security recently number accidents incidents involving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have increased significantly with million dollars losses being reported. Therefore, research on for localization intruding UAVs crucial to develop systems avoid these future. Previous works via received signal strength (RSS) value used a conformal antenna array over platonic solid geometry applied multiple classification (MUSIC) algorithm. Since MUSIC proposed omni directional antennas, when has high directivity, no longer suitable RSS-based algorithms. previous work, we novel algorithm estimation. this paper, propose an enhanced framework using arrays antennas motivation localizing drones exploiting their transmitted NTSC signal. We evaluate performance different angular spacing between array. its two directivity gain patterns antennas. Finally, validate our experimentally off-the-shelf acquire signals software defined radio (SDR) measurement campaign. The experimental results show satisfactory accuracy majority measurements.
