摘要: This reflective assay discusses the relationships between Quality of Life (QOL) and Psychology, in context culture. We performed a review several data bases (including MedLINE PsycINFO), using terms related to main theme interest. The search period comprised articles published from January 1970 June 2006. Reviewing literature material, two aspects stand out: subjectivity multidimensionality. In methodological field, construction and/or adaptation QOL measurement instruments appear as significant trend. Theoretical efforts have helped clarify improve concept's adequacy. construct is definitely interdisciplinary, encompassing contributions by different areas knowledge research, thereby improving its conceptual potential research instrument. conclude that quality life measures are potentially useful methods be applied clinical practice psychology-especially when used demonstrate impact psychological illnesses possible benefits therapeutic interventions.
