摘要: As environmental considerations start playing a major role in consumers’ choices, aluminium recycling becomes an increasingly important topic: indeed, remelting requires about 5 to 10 % of the energy used for primary production (Quinkert et al., 2001). However, scrap from wrought alloys is more and by refiners produce secondary foundry alloys, which increases share extrusion billets. Besides, significant fraction nowadays leaving Europe developping countries, limiting future potential urban mining developed world. Therefore, W2W project pilot case test France implementation different end life management strategy, whose objective reuse building joinery make new extruded products. For this be successful, pre-sorting at beginning collection process paramount: otherwise, separating high quality mixed challenge. The cycle buildings current availability have been studied using Material Flow Analysis (MFA). To build model, data collected Hydro internal sources site visits. in-use stocks assessed dynamic stock models based on historic figures assumptions average lifetime Scenarios estimate evolution these figures. predict yearly outputs post-consumer joineries 30kt/year, among kt/year should reusable These numbers examined tools sensitivity uncertainty analysis. Finally, critical topics successful implantation are logistic issues, economic technological feasibility consequences stakeholders.
