摘要: Zeeman quantum beat spectroscopy has been used to determine the thermal (300 K) rate constants for electronic quenching, rotational energy transfer, and collisional depolarization of OH(A2Σ+) by H2. Cross sections both disorientation disalignment angular momentum in radical are reported. The experimental results + H2 compared previous work on He Ar systems. Further comparisons also made Kr system, which shown display significant non-adiabatic dynamics. data reveal that collisions survive quenching process highly depolarizing, reflecting deep potential wells exist excited state surface.
