摘要: Mechanical activity of the rat caput epididymidis in vitro was recorded using a videomicrography system. The effects prostaglandin (PG)F2 alpha, PGE2, and aspirin on contractility were determined by measuring frequency contraction, luminal diameter, amplitude contraction at various concentrations each test compound vitro. PGF2 alpha stimulated tubules physiological concentrations, while PGE2 reduced contractility. Aspirin strongly inhibited 10(-3) 10(-2)M. Endogenous levels PGE for testes, caput, corpus, cauda vas deferens. While consistently higher than those both compounds relatively low high deferens, intermediate throughout epididymis. Results from these experiments suggest that PGs are important regulators proximal contractions thus may regulate sperm transport through organ.
