摘要: Deep layers of the goldfish tectum code movements in a topographically ordered motor map. This work studies relationship between tectal sites (coding eye with different vertical directions) and distributions boutons (left by their projections), within rostral mesencephalic structures rhombencephalic reticular formations. These regions have been involved generation horizontal components movement, respectively, as suggested Cartesian hypothesis de-codification signal. With this aim, discrete injections biotinylated dextran amine (BDA) Fluoro-Ruby (FR) were made into functionally identified sites, coding oblique similar amplitude component but opposite upward downward directions, distribution synaptic endings was determined. The main findings present follows: 1) descending tract, axons organized according to location injected tectum; 2) BDA FR distributed separate clusters medial longitudinal fasciculus oculomotor nuclei, well nearby formation; 3) containing both types bouton overlapped moderately formation at isthmus level. Overlapping more extended levels formation, although shift always observed. results suggest that, generator, separated contact neuronal population that codes movements. In contrast, likely converge on same movements, irrespective whether directed or downward.
