摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the contribution an ongoing audit, using image-scoring method, quality nuchal translucency images and set basic standards required from examiners. Design Evaluation images, before, during after implementation without knowledge time period or examiner. Subjects A total 315 scans were performed by three examiners. Methods Each retrospective, intermediate prospective periods included blind scoring 105 images. The effect audit examined comparing distribution groups mean final score between periods, for all cases each examiner separately. Improvement criteria assessed rate meeting demands periods. Results The improved significantly as changed 4.62 ± 0.21 6.19 0.19 6.91 0.16 (p < 0.0001) obtaining acceptable rose 72% 88% 92% 0.001), respective periods. Whereas major before (mid-sagittal section 48% 94%, caliper placement 60% 75% skin line 19% 77%), minor remained unchanged (image size 90%, amnion demonstration 25% head position 77%). average scores two examiners, whom improvement more pronounced, used determine examiners subjected follows: unacceptable, none; intermediate, 5%; reasonable, 65%; excellent, 30%; with a 7.25. Conclusions Implementation proved be efficient method surveillance improving We recommend centers individuals practicing first-trimester ultrasound screening consider its routine utilization, in unbiased strict manner.
