Statewide Travel Forecasting Models

摘要: This synthesis describes statewide travel forecasting models designed to address planning needs and provide forecasts for transportation, including passenger vehicle freight movement. It discusses the types purposes of being used, integration state urban models, data requirements, computer needs, resources (including time, funding, training, staff), limitations, overall benefits. Five case studies are included, two that focus on components, one both freight. In addition, definitions common technical terms an annotated bibliography national techniques provided.
