摘要: Streptococcus agalactiae (Sta), which belongs to Lancefield group B, causes sepsis, endocarditis and bacterial meningitis in human neonates Nile tilapia. Because the pathophysiology of Sta infection is partially similar both species, identification biomarkers for diagnosis study this disease importance animal health. Therefore, present study, we produced an immunoglobulin Y (IgY) by immunizing laying hens with proteins evaluated its ability detect paraffinized tilapia brain cardiac tissue direct immunofluorescence (IMF) indirect immunohistochemistry (IHC). The IgY was effective tilapia, justifying use species as a biomodel disease.
