摘要: This paper presents a fault-tolerant middleware for private storage services based on client-server model. A client-side API split files into redundant chunks, which are encoded/decoded, anonymized, and distributed to different locations in parallel by using multistream pipeline. chunk placement engine the server-side receives/delivers chunks from/to client side API. In this model, user preserves her in-house achieves data availability anytime from anywhere even site failure scenarios while organizations control of their resources. The experimental evaluation reveals can compensate overhead produced taking advantage multiple cores commonly found user's devices. users observe that produces similar performance public file hosting systems tested evaluation. significant reduction work servers. disaster scenarios, yields better than online solutions
