摘要: The piezosurgery instrument, developed in 1988, uses a modulated ultrasonic frequency that permits highly precise and safe cutting of hard tissue. Nerves, vessels, soft tissue are not injured by the microvibrations (60 to 200 mm/sec), which optimally adjusted target only mineralized selective thermally harmless nature instrument results low bleeding tendency. In addition, can be used operations requiring either local or general anesthesia. allows exact, clean, smooth cut geometries during surgery. difference time requirement for surgical procedures using comparison with conventional drill is negligible. Postoperatively, excellent wound healing, no nerve injuries, observed. It apparent range application limited minor operations. Because its accurate nature, effect exclusively targeting tissue, use may extended more complex oral surgery cases, as well other interdisciplinary problems.
