摘要: Increasing evidence suggests that thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) may exert extra-thyroidal effects and modulate the profile of blood lipids. The aim this study was to determine association between TSH levels, hormones, thyroxine (FT4), free triiodothyronine (FT3) lipid in euthyroid type 2 diabetic non-diabetic subjects with elevated cholesterol levels. Serum levels TSH, FT4 FT3 normal were assayed. Total (TC), triglyceride (TG) high-density lipoprotein (HDL-c) also analyzed. found be lower individuals cholesterol. correlated positively TC, LDL-c HDL-c but showed a negative relationship TG FPG diabetics cholesterol. correlation parameters except HDL-c. However, serum not significantly different groups. We infer one many biochemical modulators circulatory Our results suggest reduction play role elevation lipids irrespective status. An assessment status have wide-ranging clinical significance management hypercholesterolemia both individuals.
