摘要: Abstract The thermal and thermo-oxidative decomposition characteristics of Natural Rubber (NR) vulcanizates modified with Phosphorylated Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (PCNSL) have been studied by Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) Thermal (DTA). PCNSL NR vulcanizate showed improved stability in air, compared to that nitrogen, which is presumed be due the formation intermediate thermally stable structures former. kinetic parameters for initial stage degradation air nitrogen evaluated Freeman-Carroll method. higher value activation energy (15.10kCal/mol) Integral Procedural Decomposition Temperature, IPDT (366 °C). as against unmodified (13.04 kCal/mol 347 °C, respectively) indicate rubber.
