摘要: Quick access to short, relevant video segments enables efficient use of a digital library. This study evaluated an interface designed for such access, that allows the user browse set generated by search query. Subjects’ performance and attitudes were measured while they performed fact-finding task determine relative effectiveness three presentations: text list, naively chosen visual imagery, query-based imagery. Results show little difference in subjective satisfaction between lists but significant improvements when images represent are based on query returned (query-based poster frames). result applies organization representation information libraries.
