摘要: Abstract Objective. To investigate differences between HLA-B27– and HLA-B27+ patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Methods. A total of 1080 AS responded to a questionnaire containing 30 questions; 945 (87.5%) knew their HLA-B27 status, 10% them being B27–. Results. The average age at disease onset was 27.7 years in B27– 24.8 years B27+ (P 40 years) significantly greater among (13%) than (5%) AS. There is difference male (25.7 years) female (24.2 years) patients, no primary associated psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, or reactive arthritis. Acute anterior uveitis less frequent (26%) (41%) Conclusions. This study much larger number have been studied previously confirms earlier reports indicating older prevalence acute frequency late (after 40 years age) higher We provide the first report on significant distribution curves for diagnosis B27–and delay spondyloarthritic symptoms longer juvenile (before 16 years) nearly same, irrespective B27 status.
