摘要: This paper presents a technology to utilize bio-char and bio-tar from the pyrolysis of oil palm empty fruit bunch, EFB. In this study, tar vapor EFB was infiltrated within porous carbon deposition occurred on pore surface by chemical infiltration process. For preparation, EFB particles were made into pellets. first part experiments, pellets produced by slowly heating in tube furnace argon atmosphere terminal temperatures 500– 800°C. second part, used as precursor for decomposition process to deposit carbon pores. Tar obtained at 400–500°C fast rate occur. The purpose research is investigate amount deposited carbonization process compared contents metallurgical coke. We showed how filter produce carbon-infiltrated bio-char, useful renewable energy source ironmaking
