摘要: Four halotolerant fungal isolates originating from the saltwater Lake Urmia in Iran were selected during a screening program for salt resistance and α-amylase activity. The identified based on sequencing ITS region part of β-tubulin gene, as Penicillium chrysogenum (isolate U1; CBS 132820), Fusarium incarnatum U2; 132821), polonicum U3; 132822, isolate U4; 132823). growth these was determined by measuring colony diameter mycelia dry weight Sabouraud dextrose agar yeast nitrogen base medium supplemented with NaCl, KCl, LiCl. Isolate U4 showed up 15% NaCl U1 only that could grow 20% KCl. None strains grew media containing did not increase size all (p > 0.05). ability amylase production quantitatively tested P. most potent producer yield 260.9 U/L after 60 h, whereas U3 lowest one level 97.9 48 h. be suitable candidate an industrial scale optimization.
