摘要: Deletions affecting the long arm of chromosome 6 (6q) are among most commonly observed chromosomal aberrations in lymphoid malignancies and have been identified as adverse prognostic factor subsets tumors. Whereas at least two regions minimal deletion established, one 6q21-q23 another 6q25-q27, no tumor suppressor gene that might be involved pathogenesis has so far from these segments. For B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) conflicting data reported regarding incidence significance 6q deletions. In current study we used YAC clones mapping to bands 6q21 6q27 probes for fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) a large series B-CLL cases analyze incidence, localization clinical aberrations. Among 285 patients with studied 21 (7%) All deletions were found probe while region was deleted only third cases. Analysis characteristics laboratory parameters showed had higher white blood counts more extensive lymphadenopathy. However, overall survival treatment-free intervals similar groups. We conclude occur 7% identify subgroup characterized by larger mass but inferior outcome.
