Porphyrin based nano-sized imprinted polymer as an efficient modifier for the design of a potentiometric copper carbon paste electrode

摘要: In this study, a new carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with porphyrin-based ion imprinted polymer (IIP) was designed and applied for the potentiometric determination of Cu2+ ions in aqueous solutions. The Cu-IIP prepared using methacrylic acid, ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate monomers, presence copper complex 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-porphyrin. After polymerization, eluted by an solution hydrochloric acid to leach ions, which results obvious change its color from purple light brown. By microscopic analysis, mean particle size leached IIP estimated be around 60 nm. characterization, NPs were used as modifier design CPE As found, at optimum composition, sensor exhibited excellent Nernstian response (30.15 ± 0.2 mV dec−1) logarithm concentration over range 4.0 × 10−9 2.0 10−1 mol L−1. Moreover, showed low detection limit (2.0 L−1) short time (∼5 s) acceptable stability (at least 2 months). addition, successfully reasonable indicator titration (against EDTA) high precision accuracy. Applicability NP examined confirmed analysis various water samples ions.
