摘要: The importance and methodology of contemporary patient dosimetry in well-established radionuclide therapies are reviewed. different protocols used for radioiodine treatment thyrotoxicosis discussed. Special attention is paid to the largest safe dose approach curative therapy thyroid remnants metastases post-surgical differentiated cancer. Nowadays, meta-[131I]iodobenzylguanidine (131I-MIBG) neuroblastoma relies on bone marrow levels. Issues related whole-body tumour this type therapy, where, traditionally, has played an important role, A relatively large number patients treated with radiolabelled Lipiodol hepatocellular carcinoma. Administered activities restricted 2.22 GBq (60 mCi) when using 131I-lipiodol because radioprotection measures be taken. These radiation protection issues can avoided by 188Re labelled allowing further escalation. follow-up these also necessitates dosimetry. It concluded that malignant diseases reliable now a keystone high quality therapy. Where present medical applications focuses generally critical organs, near future accurate 3-dimensional will become feasible introduction combined SPECT-CT PET-CT imaging systems dosimetric methodology. This allow based prescriptions as performed external beam radiotherapy.
