摘要: Sewage sludge (SWS) is inevitably produced in urban wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). The of SWS on site at small WWTPs not economical; therefore, the typically transported to an alternative center. There increased interest use anaerobic digestion (AnD) with co-digestion as alternative. Although availability different co-substrates has been ignored most previous studies, it essential issue for optimization AnD co-digestion. In a pioneering approach, this paper applies Ant-Colony-Optimization (ACO) algorithm that maximizes generation biogas through order optimize discharge organic waste from sources real-time. An empirical application developed based virtual case study involves and agrifood activities. results illustrate dominate role toxicity levels selecting contributions input. methodology proposed demonstrate usefulness ACO approach supporting decision process contributes improving sustainability management.
