摘要: Abstract Introduction Otitis media with effusion (OME) is one of the most common pediatric diseases worldwide. Several studies have analyzed diversity microbiomes found in middle ear effusions (MEEs) populations from developed countries. However, no microbiological MEEs Chinese children OME been reported. This study investigated and adenoid profiles OME, compared microbial flora between without otitis media. Methods swabs were acquired 15 undergoing ventilation tube insertion adenoidectomy. Adenoid patients disease used as controls. Samples by 16S rRNA sequencing. Operational taxonomic units (OTUs) abundance information normalized. Alpha analyses to assess richness community for each sample. Beta determine inter-group variability microbiome structure. Results Based on mean relative abundance, dominated Haemophilus (14.75%), Staphylococcus (9.37%) Halomonas (7.85%), bacterial compositions adenoids groups (21.87%), Streptococcus (19.65%), Neisseria (5.8%). The controls (15.96%), (13.33%), Moraxella (12.28%). showed that there significant differences or (TM) (TA) subjects. samples control (CA) also similar. similar structure was dissimilar those according beta analyses. Conclusions Our results confirmed among children. composition taken surface challenges conventional theory serves a reservoir effusion.
