摘要: New techniques to estimate local blood and tissue velocities have been developed by several groups, including our own. The performance of these is ultimately limited the characteristics ultrasonic imaging systems that determine second-order statistics speckle. These statistical parameters vary widely depending on dimension analysis in image plane (lateral or axial) echo input signal (radio-frequency detected data). We use experiments theory examine factors describe their impact correlation-based technique for angle-independent tracking motion. results indicate algorithm can be used predict other flow detection techniques.
