摘要: Abstract In this paper, a numerical model for the flow of foams in flotation cells up to three dimensions is described. By using finite elements solve Laplace's equation potential scalar, pattern and velocity foam can be obtained. This has allowed, first time, carrying out investigations patterns regardless symmetry system. The been implemented Fluidity , general purpose element method code that allows simulations carried on anisotropic unstructured meshes. Such particular interest since other phenomena occurring depend velocity. Convergence tests verify are presented, simulation results showcase important features present implementation discussed.
