摘要: Meiosis in mammals and man, the process whereby haploid male female germ cells are produced by a specialized reduction division, is still relatively recent discovery. Little over 100 years have elapsed since Mendel (1865) proposed that determinants of phenotype were recombined transmitted meiotic chromosomes. The origins meiosis recombination, their place evolution mammalian sexual reproduction, to be clarified. Maynard-Smith (1978) has examined possibility recombination purely mechanism for repair mutational damage.
