摘要: A thymus-independent antigen (levan) can function as a carrier and induce the synthesis of antibodies to DNP. The DNP-levan conjugate is able elicit only 19S antibody against hapten. This immune response not affected in thymectomized mice, but abolished mice tolerant levan. mechanism involving cooperation between hapten-specific B lymphocytes carrier-specific suggested account for these findings.
