摘要: A new conformal mapping-based method to analyze and synthesize singly-curved microstrip structures is presented. The cross-section of such usually an elongated region with curved boundaries. Under a conventional Schwarz-Christoffel Transformation (SCT), elongation causes the undesirable crowding phenomenon. Also, curvature not taken into account. To circumvent crowding, SCT modified so that it maps straight strip polygon both ends at infinity. This mapping called Modified (MSCT) which proves be fast accurate deal electromagnetic structures. As test case, composite right/left-handed (CRLH) leaky-wave antenna (LWA) located on elliptic cylinder investigated. designed have broadside radiation 7.75 GHz Bloch impedance 50 Ω around its regime. Its scattering parameters E-plane patterns are calculated MSCT compared full-wave simulation fabrication results show good agreement.
