Spectral analysis of Ho 3+ :T eO 2 -B 2 O 3 -Li 2 O glass

摘要: A highly transparent and little yellow-coloured Ho(3+) doped TeO(2)-B(2)O(3)-Li(2)O glass was prepared in order to study its optical properties from the measured UV-VlS-NIR absorption, emission up-conversion spectra. We observed a prominent bright red colour when this brought under UV lamp. The recorded emissions revealed strong green along with blue violet colours upon excitation lambda(exc) = 643 nm, mechanism explained by an energy level diagram as three photon absorption process.
