摘要: Electrochemical techniques have long been utilized to investigate chemical changes in the neuronal microenvironment. Preclinical models demonstrated successful monitoring of various neurotransmitter systems vivo with high temporal and spatial resolution. The expansion electrochemical recording humans is a critical yet challenging goal elucidate aspects human neurophysiology create future therapies. We designed novel device named WINCS (Wireless Instantaneous Neurotransmitter Concentration Sensing) system that combines rapid scan voltammetry wireless telemetry for highly resolved analysis. utilizes fast-scan cyclic fixed potential amperometry has resolution detecting extracellular levels wide range analytes including dopamine, adenosine, glutamate, serotonin, histamine. Neurochemical represents new approach understanding central nervous system, neurobiology numerous diseases, underlying mechanism neurosurgical This article addresses current electrochemistry, its application humans, directions.
