摘要: The results of primary total knee replacement performed on a group haemophiliac patients in single institution by the same surgeon using surgical technique and prosthesis are reported. A 35 replacements 30 were carried out between 1996 2005 reviewed retrospectively. mean age was 31 years (24 to 42) follow-up for 7.5 (1 10). There 25 with haemophilia five B. HIV status CD4 count recorded, Knee Society scores determined. Two had inhibitors deficient coagulation factor. no early wound infections only one late deep infection which required two-stage revision arthroplasty, good final result. incidence HIV-positive negative thus similar. One patient inhibitor excessive bleeding due pseudoaneurysm embolisation. excellent 27 knees (77%), six (17%) fair two (6%). survival rate at taking removal loosening or as end-point 97%. mechanical haemophiliacs is very good. Our confirm that this reproducible procedure haemophilia, even > 200 mm(3) those inhibitors. lower than previously This could be better control highly active anti-retroviral therapy use antibiotic-loaded cement.
