摘要: The present article deals with the difficulties of introducing medical genetics as part Brazilian public Unified Health System (SUS). A national policy comprehensive care in was established 2009, having genetic counseling a central pillar. However, there are strategic limitations to implementation this policy: dearth training programs, lack knowledge concerning number professionals available provide counseling, and likely low for job. joint effort by ministries health education is desirable foster all professions.
