摘要: The yielding behavior of glassy polymers may be sensitive to the hydrostatic pressure and also influenced by strain rate. Thus, yield strength is a function rate instead constant. In this paper, using dimensional analysis finite element simulations, we established method estimate instrumented indentation. Together with for determining shear creep compliance proposed in our previous work, viscoelastic-plastic properties can extracted from single indentation load-depth curve. Applications were illustrated on unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC). UPVC successfully determined test. Using these parameters, true stress–strain curves under different rates approximately predicted according linear viscoelastic-perfectly plastic constitutive description.
