摘要: Abstract Neutral sugars (arabinose, glucose, galactose, fucose, mannose, rhamnose, xylose and lyxose) in riverine POM adjacent soil samples were analysed by gas chromatography over a period of 18 months small Mediterranean river basin. Total neutral or TCHO, individual sugar abundance highly variable, with TCHO yields varying from 0.04 to 94 mgTCHO/100 mgOC concentrations 78 μg/l. The most abundant arabinose (ARA) fucose (FUC) samples. Temporal fluctuations relative (wt.%) ratios indicated mainly allochthonous transformed source during autumn winter while the dry season (from Dec-97 Jul-98) was characterised fresher, phytoplanktonic component. Comparison %FUC+RHA, %GLU, %GLU+GAL (FUC+RHA)/(ARA+XYL) other parameters such as chlorophyll lignin-phenols enhanced conclusions concerning sources (terrestrial phytoplanktonic) POM.
