摘要: Dendroecology is a sub-discipline of dendrochronology, which refers to the study ecological processes in forest through analysis tree rings stand. This useful for understanding growth dynamics, natural and managed conditions. The objective this was review application dendroecology as management tool. Seventy-eight papers were identified that involved 118 species. countries where more dendroecological studies have been carried out are United States America, Spain, Argentina. practices mostly benefited from use methods estimation rotation-time planning phase; thinning execution performance assessments, well impacts pests diseases on monitoring phase. Forest research mainly based permanent sampling plots can be supported by tree-ring analysis. Dendrochronological provide relevant information structure, phytosanitary status, tree-species rates their temporal variation. Dendroecological experiences other also applied Mexico, including broadleaved tool would help optimize timber production promote conservation ecosystems Mexico.
