摘要: Abstract The focus of this paper is to demonstrate that the existing and developed models, within coupled approach, are capable for describing spray, combustion pollutant formation processes. Eulerian–Eulerian (EE) method, multi-continuum model, used spray modelling including fuel jet disintegration droplet evaporation process modelled by employing Eulerian–Lagrangian (EL) discrete model (DDM). EE–EL coupling has been performed running simultaneous simulations on a separate computational domains with constantly exchanging mass, enthalpy momentum sources. calculated results were compared available experimental data previously published results. It concluded pressure temperature traces, energy conversion emission trends well described good agreement observed. advantage presented approach retaining high CPU efficiency, characteristic EL an increased solution accuracy in near-nozzle region EE method.
