Picosecond pulses from a passively mode-locked cw dye laser

摘要: Abstract Stable passive mode-locking of a cw rhodamine 6G dye laser has been achieved using simple, end-pumped, internal lens cavity. Direct measurements an ultra-fast image converter streak camera, with picosecond time resolution, show that the output consists isolated pulses separated by 8 nsec round-trip Pulse durations as short 4.3 psec have observed.
