摘要: Abstract Advanced sensors are needed for development of next-generation fossil fuel power generation technologies and enhancing efficiencies existing systems. Optical waveguide-based sensing have become increasingly important harsh environment energy applications. In this manuscript, we present results fiber-optic evanescent wave hydrogen employing La-doped SrTiO3 layers as the active element. These show a rapid, reproducible response to gas streams at elevated temperatures (600–800 °C). The presence in reversible decrease near-infrared transmission through sensor. Sensors were also tested directly anode assembly an operating solid oxide cell (SOFC) with sensor correlating both H2 concentration SOFC potential.
