摘要: Synthetic GlcNAc-terminated thiourea-bridged gly- coclusters were found to be potent inhibitors of binding the soluble dimeric receptor rat natural killer cells, sNKR-P1A protein, its high affinity ligand. Moreover, we have shown here that characteristic precipitation curves can recorded upon mixing GlcNAc glycoclusters with sNKR-P1A. For GlcNAc8 glycocluster curve is biphasic, and low precipitates differing in their sensitivity towards GlcNAc-mediated inhibition precipitation. Quantitative analyses indicate occurrence a single sugar site per subunit, lead model most possible spatial arrangements glycocluster-receptor lattices. These results provide new tools for further studies on carbohydrate recognition by NKR-P1A. z 1998 Federation European Biochemical Societies.
